The eastern Canadian province of Quebec is a popular spot for tourism during all seasons of the year. Ski Bromont
The Ski Bromont Resort is in southern Quebec's Monteregian Hills, and it is offers 400 skiable acres on a 1,593-foot summit. Skiers and snowboarders can take advantage of the resorts 135 slopes and seven lifts that offer transportation up the mountain. The ski season runs from November through April, depending on the amount of snowfall. As of 2010, night skiing is allowed at the resort since the resort's slopes are open until 10 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays. On Fridays and Saturdays, the slopes are open until 10:45 p.m. Ski Bromont provides ski lessons from the resort's staff, and equipment rentals are available at the resort. Childcare and kids programs are also available.

Le Valinouet
The Le Valinouet ski area is in the Laurentian Mountains of northeastern Quebec's Saguenay-Lac-Saint Jean region, approximately an hour north of Quebec City. The ski resort is a bit smaller than other Quebec ski resorts with only 27 skiing and snowboarding slopes and four transportation lifts. The resort offers ski lessons to adults and children at its L'Ecole de Glisse ski school, and the resort has three "bunny slopes" for beginners. Cross-country and snowshoeing trails are also available. Shopping and dining establishments are provided in the resort's village, which is at the base of the mountain. The village also provides lodging accommodations with over 400 cabins with kitchens and living room areas.
