Instructions

1. Wrap prepackaged roast turkey lunch meat, in unopened packaging, in freezer-weight aluminum foil to further protect it from air exposure. Prepackaged meats are more susceptible to drying out because of the increased sodium content.

2. Separate deli-sliced roast turkey into individual servings, place on a tray, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 10-15 minutes. Remove from freezer, then place all servings together in one freezer-safe, air-tight plastic food storage bag or container so you can take out just what you need when ready to use it.

3. Use a vacuum sealer to store roast turkey lunch meat. Freeze as one unit or create individual serving packets.

4. Thaw frozen roast turkey lunch meat in the refrigerator. Once thawed, place meat between paper towels and pat out any excess moisture.
