Culinary Arts Schools For Teens

For teenagers, learning to cook helps prepare for independent living after graduating from high school and may also spark interest in a cooking career. In addition to receiving cooking instruction at home, teens can benefit from attending professional classes. Across the U.S., culinary schools for teens offer courses that teach adolescents basic to advanced cooking skills and techniques.

Kids Culinary Adventures, LLC

Kids Culinary Adventures, LLC is based in the San Francisco Bay area of California. The school offers classes at various locations throughout the region for children from three years of age through adolescence. Course offerings vary throughout the year, with group lessons frequently offered over holiday and summer breaks to keep teens busy when school is out. Classes are offered in both one-day workshop and multiple-day camp formats. Topics range from basic cooking skills to specialty classes like making and decorating gingerbread houses. Teens can also receive private, one-on-one lessons from Kids Culinary Adventures. These classes pair adolescents with a master chef and allow customized lessons in subjects like ethnic regional cooking. Advanced registration is required for all classes.
