Situated in Portland's Belmont neighborhood, the Paradox Cafe offers a classic diner interior highlighted by quirky lighting fixtures and ceiling decorations. Old Wives' Tales


Old Wives' Tales offers a variety of in-house dining options, from the classical music dining hall to the main dining hall with an attached playroom for children. Guests may also rent out the east dining room for private events and parties. The restaurant features a host of vegetarian and vegan dishes, including oven baked pancakes with various fruit toppings, gluten-free tofu scrambles, Indian burritos stuffed with chutney and guacamole sandwiches with cheese.
