Get Free Coupons

You want to save money whenever you buy something, but you may not want to pay to subscribe to the newspaper in order to get coupons. After all, the point of a coupon is to save money. If you have to pay for the newspaper, your savings are reduced. There are numerous ways to get free coupons without newspaper subscriptions.

Instructions

1. Ask someone in your family to save the Sunday coupons for you if they do not use them. Chances are you have a family member or friend who gets a paper and discards the coupons.

2. Find coupon code websites when ordering items online. Never buy anything online without first checking to see if there is a coupon code from the retailer. Some coupon code sites are much better than others. See the resources below for this author's favorite sites. Once you find a good coupon site, bookmark it and use it often.

3. Visit a coupon manufacturer's website (see resources below) and print out the coupons. Many of the same coupons that appear in the Sunday newspaper can be printed free from the Internet. All it costs you is the price of printer paper and ink.

4. Go to your favorite company websites and sign up for their newsletters. Often you will receive coupons and special offers through email for the products you use most.

5. Sign up for store shopper loyalty programs. Grocery stores and drugstores are the most common examples of this type of program. Often special members-only coupons will print at the register when you check out based on your buying habits.

6. Watch your mailbox. You often receive coupons in the mail-it just takes a little time to sort through them. These coupons arrive in the form of postcards, coupon "magazines," or loose-leaf coupons bundled together in envelopes.
