Many candy manufacturers produce and distribute jelly beans, especially during the Easter holiday season. For many though, the name Jelly Belly is synonymous with jelly beans because the company is the number one gourmet jelly bean maker in the world. Jelly Belly sells beans year-round and allows customers to buy custom mixes of flavors in custom packaging. Few other candy companies offer custom jelly bean ordering throughout the year. Instructions
Order From Jelly Belly Company
1. Visit Jelly Belly's customization site (myjellybelly.com). Click the "Get started" button in the middle of the screen.
2. Select the container you want the jelly beans to come in and how many containers you want to purchase.
3. Move to Step 2 on the screen to select the desired jelly bean flavor, images and text. Jelly Belly allows customers to upload their own images to put on the jelly bean containers. Images must be saved as a .jpg .jpeg, .gif, .eps, .png or .pdf file and can be no larger than 5 megabytes.
4. Click the "Candy" tab and select a flavor from the options of 20 flavor mix or one or two-flavor packages. To pick flavors, click on the images of jelly beans.
5. Click the "Background" tab to choose a preset background or color.
6. Click the "Image" tab to upload a customized jelly bean image. Select "Clipart" to use a preset image from the company or click "Upload my own" to use a personal image. Click "Browse" to navigate to your image and upload it to the Jelly Belly website. A preview will show how the image will appear.
7. Click the "Text" tab to add words to the jelly bean container. When you are finished, click the "Add to cart" button.
8. Complete the purchase by entering a shipping address and payment information.
Order From Another Vendor
9. Visit the website of a candy personalization company, such as U.S. Imprints, http://www.usimprints.com, or Inkhead, http://www.inkhead.com/jelly-beans. Many promotional item vendors, including U.S. Imprints and Inkhead, require a minimum order and will not sell an individual customized jelly bean item.
10. Select the container you want the jelly beans to come in and how many containers you want to purchase.
11. Click the button to order and customize. Each company allows buyers to specify colors for the jelly bean container, add personalized text and upload images. Each of the options is on the same screen.
12. Click "Add to cart" when customization is complete. Enter shipping and payment information to complete the purchase.
