Black Forest Inn
Opened in 1965, the Black Forest Inn serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its menu features German-European specialties, such as geschnetzeltes (a simple ragout dish made with veal or pork), sauerbraten (German pot roast), and Hungarian Goulash, a beef dish cooked with onions, paprika powder, tomatoes and some green pepper.
The menu also includes German favorites such as Wiener schnitzel (breaded veal, chicken or pork fried and served with lemon juice), Jaeger schnitzel (a veal or pork schnitzel topped with a burgundy-mushroom or a creamy-mushroom sauce), spaetzel (a side dish of tiny noodles or dumplings), sauerkraut, and cabbage.
There also are carry-out menus for patrons on the run. The restaurant serves German beer, wine and cocktails and plays host to a variety of special events.
