Certificates


Earning a certificate in the culinary arts will teach you the latest techniques and styles of cooking to help you become a culinarian. Kendall College in Chicago offers a specialized program of hands-on learning for the culinary arts and hospitality management.


Associate Degrees


Earn your associate degree in the culinary arts, baking and patisserie or hospitality and restaurant management. Schools such as Le Cordon Bleu and the Art Institutes offer associate degree programs in these disciplines, both on campus and online. The School of Culinary Arts at Yorktowne Business Institute, in Pennsylvania, offers an accelerated 16-month associate program in the culinary arts, which can help you earn your degree more quickly.


Bachelor's Degrees


Le Cordon Bleu offers an accelerated program for the culinary arts in which participants can earn a bachelor's degree in 15 to 21 months. This program is only offered at certain campuses, but you can also earn this degree online. The Art Institutes offers bachelor's programs in hospitality and restaurant management. A bachelor's program will help you secure higher-paying positions within the culinary industry as a manager or a chef.


Master's Degrees


Though a master's degree in the culinary fields have less to do with technical skills and more to do with theory, a master's degree can only help further your career. You can even specialize in areas such as cost control, quality development and nutrition. Strayer University is one school that offers a master's degree in hospitality.
